Design ServicesThe process of designing your new kitchen, remodeling the bathroom, or adding a new family room with an entertainment center and bookcases can appear to be an overwhelming process. You need to gather room measurements, look at design options, make cabinet selections, countertop selections, and consider the overall expense of the project. The bottom line is that we will provide you with the game plan. We view Kitchen and Bath Creations as the team with the industry expertise and experience to assist in “coaching” you through the process of designing your dream kitchen or family room and then executing the plan. The sales and senior management teams have extensive backgrounds in the kitchen cabinet industry at the manufacturing and distribution levels. The first step is to work with one of our design specialists who have many years of experience. Our staff includes individuals who have degrees in interior design and architecture. They bring innovative ideas, planning, and focus on the details that are necessary for your project. We do not use the “big box” approach with your kitchen. The Concept ProcessGather your ideas by looking at home remodeling or kitchen design magazines, clip the pictures of interest, and start your design folder. Gather samples of brochures, paint chips if you are painting the walls, and samples of the flooring that may be integrated into your total design. The Planning ProcessReview the KBC Meeting Checklist before visiting our showroom or setting up an appointment with one of our designers. Use the Planning Worksheet to measure your kitchen, bathroom, family room, office, laundry room, garage or any area you want to add cabinetry. These measurements will be verified by KBC before anything is ordered. The Design ProcessThe design process starts with sitting down and gathering your ideas. We will help you with planning the steps for the remodel or new construction. We will discuss your budget, the time frame for the project, scheduling time lines, the construction components for the project, including the various trades (carpenter, plumber, electrician, tile setter etc.), and the other materials that may be involved in the project, such as counter tops, appliances, flooring material, and windows. Preparation of Preliminary DrawingsThe preliminary drawings will be prepared by your designer for a kitchen or bathroom that is designed to fulfill your needs. KBC utilizes a state of the art computer aided drawing system that will enable you to see a graphic representation of the floor plans along with elevations. We will help you in narrowing down the product selections. We will assist you in refining the plans until we have the solution you are seeking. Site Visit – Field MeasuringOur designer will come to your home to confirm all the dimensions before any material is ordered. We want to make sure that your wishes and the designs come together so the result is what you envisioned. Review Scheduling – Place the OrderA last check of the scheduling time frame will be made to make sure your family is prepared for the remodeling or construction. KBC will then complete the details necessary to place the order for your dream kitchen or bathroom. Construction Begins/CompletedYour project can commence and will be completed with the comfort of knowing that you are prepared and have the benefit of the training and experience of our design professionals. |
