Kitchen Cabinetry Builder Sales

Currently seeking a talented and energetic self starter with knowledge of the local Builder Trade. Relationship building and customer service are cornerstones of this position. The salesperson will develop, sell, and manage regional builder and remodeling contractors.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, high energy individual with a proven track record in builder sales and 20/20 design experience. This individual must also possess strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator with excellent follow up.

Job Duties

  • Independently research, identify, and develop new customer, remodeler, and builder accounts
  • Service existing builder accounts
  • Schedule and accurately conduct design field measures
  • Order entry to Customer Service Department
  • Train builder sales staff

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of sales in the kitchen cabinet industry
  • Proficient with 20/20 design software
  • Computer software conversant–Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Estimating/Quoting
  • Ability to envision designs
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to communicate with team members, clients, builders, and contractors
  • Ability to connect with and work collaboratively with contractors and receive feedback
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on and deliver projects under budget and ahead of schedule
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Minimum of four years of design experience
  • Design degree/certification preferred
